A stroll along the Brisbane River to meet friends for brunch turned into an incredible surprise proposal for our client’s lucky lady.

Following an overnight stay in a hotel in the city, our client made plans to meet some friends and family for brunch nearby.
So mid-morning, with his partner not thinking anything of it, together they strolled across the Kangaroo Point bridge alongside the Brisbane River until he reached the special place. Unexpectedly, he guided her off the footpath, where to her complete surprise she was greeted with this stunning romantic setting.

He led her down the utterly romantic fresh rose petal aisle, to the setting framed with dried florals in vibrant shades of red and pink on gold plinths. He decided to include the ‘Marry Me’ sign, but requested to have it covered with fabric, which, when the moment was right, he proceeded to remove, revealing the words as he dropped to one knee.

Needless to say, she said YES!
Then to her surprise the group of friends and family they were meeting for brunch, had been hiding in the bushes, and witnessed the magical moment take place. They made their way out to congratulate the newly engaged couple which added to the excitement of this memorable surprise proposal on the Brisbane River.
Our stylish gold champagne cooler with ice was a great addition for a celebratory toast.

After the proposal and photos were taken, being a man of his word, they did indeed proceed to make their way to brunch, as planned – just with the addition of a beautiful sparkling ring on her finger.
